I like in a big town. We have a good number of punks here Sort-of.....At my middle school I was the first to have a Mohawk over 1 inch, Mine was about 8 or so in 6th grade. I had 14 Eyed boots, A mohawk down drooping over my face and a Jacket with a bad religion back patch on the first day of school. It didn't go over to well. By 7th grade like 6 people became punks and Skins ^.^. Only 3 of us are left now. I am pretty sure I'll be the last one....

I'm also the only punk around where I live. Well I think there are a few other but..let's just say we're not punk in the same way.
It's not really a problem for me, I met other punks who were annoying, I met some 'normal' people who were cool.
But don't hesitate going to gigs alone! You can always meet people there. I recently travel hundreds miles to go to a Social D show, alone. I don't care I had a great time.
I just sometimes feel a little bored, like..can't tell some jokes because people would not understand.. I rather miss cultivated people.

Well there is a difference here. There is people who just have a "Punk Phase". This is for people who get into it heavily when they are 15 and Listen to the Sex Pistols and fucking Minor threat for like 2 years, but then they grow out of it. Punk is a lifestyle not a phase or just music. Punk is an idea that you will never get out of your heart and head.

As for the people who are probably going through a phase where I live there is about over 900?(California so....There is still somewhat a punk scene)

People who can actually stay addicted to punk Ideals and music- Less than 50 probably....

Yeah I'm the same, but my mates never were into punk in the first place lol. There doesn't seem to be any around this area and I'm too skint half the time to go into London so I'm stuck in this chav-infested shithole . Whereabouts in England do you live Rosie punx? Could always go to a gig together sometime since we both go alone haha.

Well I live just off the edge of London, so central London isn't far at all but lack of money plus finding the time stops me going there as often as I could lol. Never mind! I'm not sure about 'massive' but yeah there seems to be quite a big scene in London, particularly Camden which I'm sure everyone has heard of!

I've been to a couple of gigs on my own so I'm not completely used to it either. Yeah I recommend keeping sober or just tipsy.. I got quite drunk last time and was stumbling all over the place on the trains and buses .

Lol I need to make money, and Its the only band On tour that is in the style of music I like. I like the albums Punks not Dead and Troops of tomorrow and even Fuck the System Lol.....But I Will be around most of England.....I might stop by:

Blackpool Uk

London Uk

and Maybe a few other dates......Like I need a job during the Summer so I mainly do Sound checking and merch selling. If I could do this for any band I would, but The Exploited weren't in my top 10 lol. I can't even understand 60% of Wattie says, but It'll be fun to hang with him ^.^. I might be on Bad Religions next tour as well if things work out...

The Exploited are racist scum though :-/ How do you have all these 'connections' with bands anyway? lol

Ah Blackpool, I take it you are going to Rebellion festival? I can't even go to that, no money :(

Well I live very close to London so I'll see what I can do about hanging out, but I'm not the most fun person to be around lol

Lucky I'm really jealous lol, wish I could go... too expensive for me right now, maybe next year I'll save up or something.

Yeah The Exploited are sexist and racist. Wattie has made several racial slurs, he has a small swasticka tattoo and has been photographed with a bunch of neo-nazis doing the sieg heil salute. Need anymore proof haha

I always thought Newcastle was near Leeds or something but apparently it's just under Scotland o.0 Well who knows if there's a band I really want to see who happen to be playing near you then I'd probably travel up there provided I could afford it . The only band I'd really like to see who are playing North this year is Discharge, and that's in Derby which is about half way from us both lol. Are there any bands you really want to see enough that you'd be willing to travel all the way down here?

Why did your mate get kicked out? Hahaha glitter and streamers, good night then lol :P

Post  Re: what do you think about it ?

I have connections beacause I've done this since I was 12 almost Lol. I mainly did a bunch of crappy shit at House shows until I met Stza.....He actually gave me a chance, and after meeting people for 3 years straight, I know a decent amount of people. Alot of smaller bands though.......I work through Record companies like Plan-it-x and they call musicians Lol. You'd know alot of people if you had a shitty life like me Lol. The biggest band I've ever helped will be The Exploited probably.....Good opportunity to go to Rebellion Fest and hang out with some people, or get a job that doesn't suck.....Also I heard that Street Dogs and UK Subs are going to play, That is going to be sick :3. I don't like alot of the bands there though......The only good ones are probably Gbh, UK Subs, Street Dogs, Penny-Wise, Mad Sin, OFF!, and of course the amazing The Damned! :3

I could get you free tickets next year if you want maybe. It'll be a pain in the ass, but I could pull it off Lol....And it is fucking expensive.

And it sucks the Exploited are Sexist and Racist Lol....Last time I met them they were cool, but I think i sort-of changed my mind about them Lol. I REALLY want to go on tour with GBH :(

I think I count as one of those "Women behind Rock N Roll" or something......The only thing I haven't done for a band is probably have sex Lol, and I don't really want to do that beacause most of the bands I help with are like 35 and older.
