Platero y Tú fue banda de bilbao de rock formado a finales de los años 80 y disuelto en 2001. Tiene influencias de grupos como Leño, AC/DC o Status Quo, y guitarristas como John Fogerty de Creedence Clearwater Revival, alejándose del rock radical vasco que triunfaba en el momento de la creación de la banda. Sus canciones hablan de temas de bares, drogas y amores. Debe su nombre a la famosa obra de Juan Ramón Jiménez: Platero y yo, material del 2002 18 temas.
