La banda extremeña de hard rock THE BUZZOS presenta este viernes en la Sala Mercantil de Badajoz su nuevo cd-single NEW AGE OF ROCK´N´ROLL, con tres temas de alto voltaje, grabado en los estudios Rec Division de Madrid con Carlos Calderón (Cycle) dirigiendo grabación mezclas y producción.

The Buzzos surgen en 2002,momento en que unen sus fuerzas 5 fanáticos apasionados de la electricidad, el sudor y demoledores fetiches como The Who, Kiss, MC5, Stooges o ACDC.

Nominados al mejor disco y al mejor cantante de 2008 en los Premios de la Música de Extremadura, en 2010 ganan el prestigioso concurso FESTIMAD Taste en Madrid, donde consiguen el Premio al mejor grupo pop-rock y el Premio Gibson al mejor guitarrista del festival.

The Buzzos han actuado en festivales como Extremúsika, Festimad, Festival del Oeste, Womad, Egarock, Viriatorock, Grande Rock Festival entre muchos otros y en salas de toda España. Han compartido escenario y cartel con muchos de los mejores grupos nacionales e internacionales. En marzo de 2010 la banda comenzó una gira de más de 20 fechas que les está llevando por gran parte de España y Portugal. En septiembre de 2010 volverán a Rec Division, otra vez con Carlos Calderón a los controles para grabar su nuevo disco, que será masterizado en los estudios Soundmaster de Londres por Kevin Metcalfe (The Who, U2, The White Stripes, Queen, Robert Plant, David Bowie…)
