Dentre os grandes nomes do Reggae, Keith Poppin não pode ficar de fora. Versátil seria a melhor palavra para descreve-lo. Suas músicas vão desde Love Songs, Rocksteady Deep Roots, conscious, early, Country Reggae.
Keith Poppin cresceu junto com o cantor
Jimmy London, sendo que em diversos álbum ele fazia o Back Vocal para o Jimmy London e vice-versa. Sua primeira gravação foi para o lendário Coxsone Dodd para o Studio One, onde Jackie Mittoo tomava conta dos teclados, esse trabalho saiu com o nome de "The Robins", e que é a primeira faixa desse álbum "Wailing Time", está na cara o toque de Coxsone Dodd, raridade diga-se de passagem.
Esse álbum é uma compilação dos maiores sucessos de Keith Poppin entre 70-79. Entre eles "High Times", "Righteous Man", "Envious" que por aqui é conhecido como Melo do Batman, e o sucesso que leva o nome do álbum "Get Together" que foi hit na Inglaterra, chegando a terceira posição das paradas e a venda de 50 mil cópias. O que para o Reggae era uma vitória muito grande.
